My WP skills are very basic but I'm trying to build a visual menu.
Pic 1 - these 6 items always remain and each is a link.
Pic 2 - if I click on the motorbike, the sub-menu appears below with 4 clickable pictures linking to webpages.
Pic 3 - if I click on the ship, three different sub-menu items will appear in the same space.
Each of the 6 top pictures will link to a different sub-menu in the same space - replacing the previous sub-menu. [Clear as mud?]
I've tried dozens of navigation tutorials but none of them do this simple display. I've tried googling category filters but it's such a rabbit hole for a beginner.
Can this be done? Can it be done with blocks, sections, containers or some other element?
Or should I be looking for a plugin?
I don't even know what it's called so I can't even google it...
